About this project
Prototype video
FLAT EARTH IS REAL AND THIS IS HOW IT WORKS is a party game where players take turns in placing objects on a flat disk through their smartphone screen. Pointzones on the disk determine how valuable the players placed objects are. The goal for the players is to earn as many points as they can and block their opponents as good as they can.
The twist in this game is it's asymmetric VR component. One of the players has a VR headset. This player holds up the disk and has the task to stack the objects on the disk and protect them. Astroids threaten the earth and the VR player can protect the earth and the objects by hitting the astroids with the moon. This moon can also be used to bring the objects together on the disk so they don't fall off. The goal of the VR player is to get as many objects on the earth as possible.
An interesting friction is that the players who place the objects try to throw the other players objects off the flatearth while the VR player tries to hold all the objects on the disk.
